The short version: use duomock freely, and your exports are yours to use. Pro renews until you cancel, and you can cancel any time. Please read on for the details, which include your consumer rights.
01About these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and Asad Shuja, based in England (“duomock”, “we”, “us”). They cover the duomock website and studio and the duomock Pro subscription. By using duomock, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal data. You can contact us at support@duomock.com.
02The service
duomock lets you place your own images and videos on 3D iPhone Duo models and export still images and videos. The free plan needs no account and adds a small watermark to exports. duomock Pro removes the watermark and unlocks higher-resolution stills, video export and extra backdrops, as described on the pricing page.
We keep improving duomock, so features may change. We won’t take away a main Pro feature during a billing period you’ve already paid for without offering you a pro-rata refund.
03Your account
To buy Pro you sign in with a code we email you. You must be at least 13 to create an account, and at least 18 (or have a parent’s or guardian’s permission) to buy Pro. Keep access to your email secure, because anyone who can read it can sign in as you. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account.
04Pro subscriptions and billing
- Pro is billed monthly or yearly in advance through Stripe, at the price shown when you check out, plus any tax that applies.
- Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period, using the payment method on file, until you cancel.
- If a renewal payment fails, Stripe retries it. Pro stays on while it does, but if payment can’t be collected, your subscription ends.
- If we change the price, we’ll email you at least 30 days before it applies to your next renewal, so you can cancel first if you don’t want to continue.
- Promotion codes apply only as described when they’re issued, and have no cash value.
05Cancelling and refunds
You can cancel any time from Manage subscription in the studio. Cancelling stops the next renewal, and you keep Pro until the end of the period you’ve paid for.
Your 14-day cancellation right. UK consumer law normally lets you cancel an online purchase within 14 days. Pro is digital content that starts as soon as you pay. At checkout you ask for it to start immediately and acknowledge that this ends your right to cancel. After that, the 14-day right no longer applies to that payment.
Refunds. Apart from that, payments aren’t automatically refundable. If something went wrong, such as a charge you didn’t expect or Pro not working for you, email support@duomock.com and we’ll look at each request individually.
None of this affects your legal rights as a consumer. For example, if Pro is faulty or not as described, you may be entitled to a repair, a replacement or some or all of your money back.
06Your content and your exports
What you put in stays yours. The screenshots, videos and text you add are processed in your browser and never uploaded to us. You need the rights to use them, and you’re responsible for what you create and how you use it.
What you export is yours to use, commercially or otherwise. That includes images and videos made with our device models, backdrops and templates: you can use them in App Store listings, websites, social posts, ads and client work. You can’t extract our 3D models, textures, shaders or template artwork and sell or redistribute them as standalone assets, or use them to build a competing mockup product.
07Acceptable use
Please don’t:
- use duomock to make content that is unlawful, infringes someone else’s rights, or is meant to deceive, such as a fake product announcement presented as real;
- get around the Pro features, watermark or payment, or share your account so other people can use Pro;
- interfere with the service, overload it, or probe or attack its security;
- copy duomock’s code or scrape the site to build a competing product.
If you break these terms, we may suspend or close your account. If we close a paid account for a serious breach, we won’t refund the rest of the period.
08Apple trademarks
duomock is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Apple Inc. iPhone is a trademark of Apple Inc. Our device models are renderings made for mockups. When you use Apple product images in marketing, follow Apple’s own guidelines for doing so.
09Our rights
duomock, its website, code, 3D models, shaders, templates and branding belong to Asad Shuja or its licensors, and are protected by intellectual property law. These terms give you the right to use the service and your exports as described above, and nothing more.
10Availability and liability
We work to keep duomock running well, but we can’t promise it will always be available or free of errors. It runs in your browser and depends on your device supporting 3D graphics.
We’re responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We’re not responsible for loss that wasn’t foreseeable. duomock is for personal and business use. We aren’t liable to business users for lost profit, lost business or business interruption, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it arose.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can’t be limited by law, including your statutory rights as a consumer.
11Ending these terms
You can stop using duomock at any time and ask us to delete your account. If we ever shut duomock down, we’ll give Pro subscribers at least 30 days’ notice by email and refund any unused part of a paid period.
12Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, for example when duomock or the law changes. We’ll change the date at the top. If a change is significant and affects Pro subscribers, we’ll email you before it takes effect. If you don’t accept it, you can cancel before your next renewal.
13Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you have a problem, please email us first, and we’ll try to sort it out. Any dispute will be heard by the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
